Section 1

Give yourself 1 point for each yes answer to the questions below...

• Do you prefer pets who will sit in your lap for hours, loving every minute of petting?
• Do you want your pet to hang on every word you say ?
• Are you looking for a pet to have around a couple years only?
• Do you want a pet that prefers to sleep at night?
• Do you want a pet that tends to stay in one small area?
• Do you want a pet you can take with you when you leave the house?
• Are you looking for a pet for a young child?
• Are you looking for a minimal-care pet?

Section 2

Give yourself 1 point for each yes answer to the questions below...

• Do you want a pet that requires regular attention and can be expensive to maintain properly?
• Are you ok with a pet that is considered an exotic and requires specialist vets?
• Are you looking for a pet to have around for 15+ years?
• Do you want a pet that prefers to sleep during the day?
• Do you want a pet that has a mind of their own?
• Do you like pets that are curious and want to explore?
• Do you like pets that always seem to come up with new things to learn?
• Do you want a pet that will fascinate your friends & family?

Now add up the points for each section separately. If Section 1 has more points than Section 2, you’d probably be much happier with a different pet. If, however, your Section 2 points are higher, read on to learn more about keeping chinchillas.
